Krafty Kids-Toilet Paper Roll Puppets

Want to teach your children to recycle while doing a fun craft activity? Just save up your toilet paper rolls, then show them how to make paper dolls. It’s simple! Just cover a cardboard toilet paper roll with cardstock or Designer Series Paper; for the face, punch a circle from cardstock using the 2-1/2” Circle Punch. (I shaped the faces using Paper Snips.) Cut the hair from cardstock and use a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker for the eyes. Done! Add as much detail as you want. Let the kids come up with different outfits, hats, etc. (You might even end up wanting to make a few for yourself!) ;-)

If you prefer, attach the faces to popsicle sticks so the kids can use them as puppets.

These would be great for a school party. You could even put a small gift or candy inside for a teacher gift.

Do you have any great ideas for kids’ crafts using toilet paper rolls? Let us know!
