What is a Mini Stampler?

A few employees here at Stampin’ Up! have admired mini stamped samples done by some of our demonstrators. The demonstrators combined the samples in small groups and framed them or made them into a collage. They were so cute that we decided to try making one or two (or more!) for ourselves. It was decided to start a swap group for mini squares.

Last year an e-mail was sent out to Stampin’ Up! employees with an invitation to anyone who would like to participate. You could opt in or out on any or all.  Christmas was the first and continued with Valentine’s Day, Easter, Independence Day, Halloween, and Thanksgiving.

A set of guidelines were given—including which Designer Series Paper and coordinating colors could be used. The size parameters were a very small square or circle (1"–1-3/8" as the template) and you could use traditional stamping or MDS (or a combination of both) for your swaps.

I did not participate until Halloween and did I miss out . . . as you can see! Look how cute all of the previous holidays turned out!

All the combinations of colors and styles came together so beautifully that they reminded me of a quilt sampler. I suggested that we start calling the swap group “The Mini Stampler Swap.”

The following is a list of all the girls that participated in one or more of the swaps: Alisha Parker, Bonnie Thurber, Brandi Barnard, Carrie Cudney, Charlet Mallet, Cori Hancock, Dani Baker, Donna Griffith, Emily Walker, Jalise Hansen, Julie Shaw, Kellene Adams, Lana Limb, Lindsey Hortin, Lynn Lyons, Pam Morgan, Paula Critchlow, Sara Wyman, Selma Galloway, and Terri Allen.

We hope you enjoyed looking at all the ideas and might want to try a “stampler” yourself!
