Through our Tuition Assistance program, we are dedicated to the educational advancement of our employees. This benefit is provided based on the following criteria:
- An employee must have been employed full-time or part-time for at least three months when coursework begins.
- At the beginning of coursework, an employee must obtain preapproval from their supervisor.
- Preapproval requires that an employee must not have received a written warning within the previous 60 days.
- The employee must maintain satisfactory job performance throughout and obtain final approval from their supervisor when coursework ends before tuition reimbursement will be paid.
- Coursework or degree pursued must have relevance to the employee’s current position or advancement within the company.
- Educational institution must be an accredited college, university, or approved community education or language skills program providing degree-related or business-relevant coursework.
- Language certification must come from a preapproved language skills center.
- The reimbursement applies to tuition expenses only and does not include books and other fees.
- An employee is eligible for reimbursement if they earn a grade of ‘C’ or better in a graded class; pass a pass/fail course; or receive a certification of course completion for a language class.
Benefit
Employees who meet the criteria are eligible to receive up to the following tuition reimbursement amounts annually:

Program Limitations
- Up to $3,000 (for full-time employee) or up to $1,500 (for part-time employee) per calendar year may be reimbursed for tuition.
- Tuition reimbursement must be paid during the year that the class ends and within 60 days of the last day of eligible class(es).
- For example, if a class ends December 14, the tuition must be paid before December 31. If a class ends on May 4, tuition must be paid before July 3.
- An employee who leaves the company voluntarily or for cause before final reimbursement approval will not be eligible for reimbursement.
- Coursework must not interfere with job performance.
- Coursework may not be completed on company time, including required internships, study abroad programs, etc.
- You may request to use PTO or a leave of absence.
- Scholarships, public grants, government funding, and other financial assistance will be applied toward eligible reimbursement amount.
- Online and correspondence courses must be preapproved and relative to job function.
- Student fees, housing, transportation, parking, textbooks, activities, records, and finance charges do not qualify for reimbursement.
How to Apply
- Prior to the beginning of the course, complete the preauthorization section of the Tuition Assistance Application form.
- Obtain prior approval from your manager.
- Obtain eligibility verification from HR.
- HR will return the form for you to keep until you have completed your coursework.
- After completion of the coursework, obtain final approval from your manager.
- Submit signed Tuition Assistance Application, a copy of official grade reports, receipts, and documentation of all tuition assistance you received from other sources to HR within 60 days of the last day of your eligible class(es) or before December 31 of the current year, whichever is sooner.
- HR will approve and return the Tuition Assistance Application form to you.
- Submit a request for reimbursement in Rydoo, attaching the Tuition Assistance Application form along with your receipt for tuition. Reimbursement will then be direct deposited into your personal bank account.
